Hi there ARETSI followers. I have some more security news. I would like to do a PSA for all our friends . The FBI has released a notice that any owner of a small business and/or home office router should reboot their devices due to cyber attacks that might have compromised the units. This is not a false alarm and should dealt with immediately.
Additionally,If you have remote management on these devices you should turn that feature off. if you need this feature they recommend to enable encryption and to change your remote management password to a strong password after you reboot the router. To reboot all you have to do is power it off and turn it back on. Once the router is rebooted you should login into your router make the changes recommended and as precaution you should also change the password for the router.
